Step 2: Cleanse and dry your skin. Attach the mask securely around your head and adjust the straps comfortably.
Step 3: Switch on, then sit back and relax for your 10-minute light therapy session.
Step 4: Remove the mask from your head, wipe clean and safely store.
Step 5: Continue with the rest of your skincare routine.

We recommend using the device 3 to 5 times for 6 weeks to see best results. After 6 weeks of consecutive use, give your skin a short break of 1 to 2 weeks before resuming for another 6-week rotation.

Yes. It’s important to limit exposure to blue LED light, we recommend using the provided protective goggle inserts for the duration of your light therapy session.

Blemishes refer to imperfections on the skin, such as discolouration, spots or marks, caused by various factors like hormonal changes, genetics, stress, skincare, diet and environment.
Our Anti-Blemish LED Face Mask targets mild to moderate acne, pimples, whiteheads and small cysts or nodules. However, it's not effective for treating pockmarks or indentations from previous spots, nor is it recommended for those with a history of melasma. If you have severe acne, please consult your doctor.

Blue light therapy gets absorbed by the cells on the skin’s surface, specifically targeting acne-causing bacteria (p. acnes).
Red light therapy works below the skin’s surface to lower inflammation, soothe redness for a brighter, clearer skin tone.

Clogged hair follicles due to excess oil, dead skin cells, dirt, or makeup can cause blemishes, while hormonal changes can increase oil production, leading to pore blockage.
And while stress alone doesn’t cause blemishes, it can aggravate the symptoms.

Certain skincare and makeup can block the LED light from entering the skin. We recommend using the LED face mask on clean, product free skin.

The device is 100% pain free. It does not get hot and should not feel uncomfortable.

6 to 8 hours for a full charge.

Wipe down the transparent side of the LED face mask with water-based wipes or a damp, lint free cloth. Stubborn stains can be gently removed with 70% rubbing alcohol. We recommend cleaning your mask before every use to keep it fresh.

Test yourself for light sensitivity prior to using:
1. Check the list of contraindications to ensure you are not using any skincare which cause photosensitivity or taking any medications (oral or topical) which cause photosensitivity reactions.
2. Ensure your skin is clean and dry.
3. Place your LED product in contact with the skin. Ideally inner thigh, arm or back of hand.
4. Turn your device on and complete a full treatment.
5. Please note if at any time you experience heat or discomfort stop your treatment immediately.
6. After 24 hours, if there are no reactions, carry out the treatment protocol indicated for your device.
7. If you experience any reactions please contact our customer support team.

STOP your treatment if it feels hot or if your skin feels uncomfortably warm.
DO NOT use the device on unpigmented spots or areas of skin affected by vitiligo.
DO NOT open if you have had recent surgery/other surgical procedures or if you have a bacterial infection, as this may lead to worsening of symptoms.
DO NOT use or store the device near hot surfaces, in direct sunlight or where the temperature exceeds 100F, as this may damage the plastic coating of the device.
DO NOT use solvents or abrasive cleaners on the appliance.
DO NOT use the appliance in any way other than that specified in the User Manual.
DO NOT use the device with a USB-C cable other than the one supplied by CurrentBody. The device must only be used with the USB cable supplied. If any part of the main adapter or cable is damaged, discontinue use and contact CurrentBody.
DO NOT scratch the light-emitting surface.
Ask your doctor before use if:
You are taking any prescription or over-the-counter medicines known to cause light sensitivity. You can find more information and a list of drugs that can cause light sensitivity here.
Have suspicious or cancerous lesions.
Have photosensitive disorders or genetic eye diseases.
Do not use the device on areas with phlebitis, thrombophlebi-tis and varicose veins or if you have a medical history of light-triggered seizures or epilepsy.
Skincare which treats causes of and active acne are contraindicated against for use with this device.
Contraindicated Skincare: salicylic acid, AHA and BHA exfoliants, glycolic acid, fruit acids, retinoids, hydroquinone, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, along with any other skincare which causes sensitivity to the sun or photosensitive/phototoxic reactions.
Medications which are known to cause photosensitivity (only most common). Please check with your doctor if you are unsure if it will cause a photosensitive reaction.
Contraindicated Medications: Antibiotics; particularly those for treating skin conditions, or roaccutane; do not use within 6 months, steroids, topical or injectables. If you've had injections, you will need to wait 3 months before using LED, diuretics and St John’s Wort.
Other contraindicated ingredients include coal tar, deodorants, antibacterial soaps, artificial sweeteners, naphthalene (moth balls), petroleum products, brightening agents found in laundry detergents and cadmium sulphide (a chemical injected into the skin during tattooing).

I’m definitely keeping it.
I was highly skeptical that this would work, especially with so many five-star reviews. I couldn’t believe a product could be that effective—especially after spending so much money on countless others that didn’t deliver.
I stopped using contraceptives six months ago (my second attempt after initially going back on them due to severe acne). While on birth control, my skin was completely clear, but once I stopped… let’s just say the past few months have been rough.
After four weeks of using this mask, I’m now writing my own five-star review. I want to be as specific as possible so it’s clear this is a genuine experience. The only reason I decided to buy the mask was the 60-day return policy—it felt like a safety net.
I noticed an improvement within just one week. To be fair, I used it more than once a day because my acne was getting worse, and I was desperate. At first, I didn’t want to believe the results, thinking they could just be due to hormonal fluctuations. But after four weeks, the difference is undeniable. My acne scars are fading faster, and I haven’t had any major breakouts in two weeks.
It’s hard to say if the mask alone is responsible (I also started acupuncture to help balance my hormones and stopped consuming diary), but seeing visible results so quickly was convincing enough. Plus, using the mask is easy and even encourages a moment of mindfulness—which might help with acne, too!

Gamechanger for my skin!

I already had the regular LED mask, the anti-blemic pen and the
Nira skincare laser. They all have their own effects and I use them all. Due to allergies and all kinds of intolerances, I have difficult skin. It has improved so much that I often don't wear makeup anymore. I'm 51 years old. It's an expense but really nice to be able to do this at home and save on expensive salon treatments. You just have to be consistent. I won't skip a day. Using it occasionally is pointless.
