This is my first Red Light Therapy Mask, so I don't have anything to compare it to.
Having said that, I believe this mask has a lot of plusses. I love its simplicity! Press a button and it's turned on for 10 minutes. No choosing settings, setting the time, etc.
I also like the number, type, and placement of bulbs. In my opinion this mask is far superior to others that have fewer, weaker and less than optimum placement of the bulb.
What I don't like about the CurrentBody LED mask is the fit of the mask itself. I'm a 5'4", 123 pound female, for reference. Not a big head, not a small head, just average. This mask does not really fit/mold my face properly. The bottom half, below the eyes, sits away from the face, not touching it. No amount of adjusting the velcro straps alters this. In fact, I removed the velcro straps and jerry rigged my own straps. I still have to "press" or hold the mask again my cheeks and chin. It doesn't cup underneath my face at all either.
I guess this isn't a problem if one isn't concerned about getting the optimum benefit from the mask. However, it is my understanding that the mask needs to touch/sit on, the face to get the maximum benefit.
