At first I struggles to find the best way to use it on the different contours of my face. Once I understood the dynamics I was up and removing my excessive peach fuss which had accumulated over several years of taking predisolone (Steroids) for an autoimmune disorder.

I was amazed at the results and would highly recommend DERMAFLASH Luxe + Exfoliating Device for all my fellow Rheumatology patients who find themselves on long term use of steroids.

This product got a great write up in the Telegraph, which prompted me to buy it but I am slightly disappointed in it. I expected it to be better than it is considering the price tag.

I really love this device. It works, it’s easy to use, not chance of cutting yourself, fresh blade every time keeps things clean, and skin feels incredibly soft afterwards. Plus, seeing all the peach fuzz come off is very satisfying. You could get the same result with an eyebrow razor, or a dermaplane blade (tried that. It was a bloodbath for me), but this is a simple, thorough, and safe way to do it. I still use an eyebrow razor for touch ups of tiny rogue hairs in between, but I’ve found that even those thick and dark hairs don’t grow as quickly (no idea why that is. Any tool is just cutting the hair off at the surface of the skin. This tool has some wizardry). You could reuse the blade, but when I’ve reused eyebrow razors in the past I’ve ended up with tiny bumps on my face that just don’t go away. Since you only need to use this device every few weeks (or as needed for you. Everyone will be different), then it costs a lot less than something you need to dispose of daily. I bought several packs of replacement blades at once when there was a sale.
